Duration:    2 Days 1 Night Transport:  Van or Coach Location:    Sandakan (East Coast) Minimum:    2 Persons Day 1 Selingan Turtle Islands Park Meet at Hotel Lobby (0945 hrs) or Sandakan Airport (MH 2042 ETA 0810 hrs). Transfer to jetty for boat ride to Selingan Turtle Island Park. The journey to the island will take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. Upon arrival, register at Turtle Island Park HQ and check into chalet. After lunch at cafeteria, free at own leisure e.g swimming or snorkeling. After dinner, wait for rangers call to observe turtle laying egss process. The eggs are transfer to the hatchery and if there are young turtle hatchling, there is an opportunity to observe the release of baby turtles to the open sea. Overnight at chalet (Common or Attached Bathroom). (Lunch / Dinner) Day 2 Sepilok Orang Utan / Sandakan City 0700 am, depart from island to Sandakan. After breakfast, proceed in an air-conditioned vehicle to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Center. At this center, observe the man's closeset relative "the Orang Utan" being rehabilitated to become wild in their natural habitat and experience a walk in the Tropical Lowland Dipterocarp Forest of Borneo. Witness the feeding of the Orang Utan at the feeding platform. 1100 hrs, return to Sandakan. Drive up hill to the Puh Jih Syh Chinese Buddhist Temple, which offers a panoramic view of the Sandakan Bay. After lunch, transfer to airport for your flight MH 2709 (ETD 1415 hrs) or hotel. Includes: English speaking guide, land / boat transfers based on joining basis, entrance fees, accomodation and meals as stated. Excludes: Airfares / taxes/ insurances, Camera / video camera fees & beverages (alcoholic/ juice / carbonate). Recommended items to bring: Torch, swim wear, sandals (tevas), insect reppelent, raincoat, hat, binocular and sun screen (sweat proof). Use good walking shoes and comfortable cotton T-shirt with long or short pant.
