Pick up from hotel lobby for a drive up to Signal Hill, a popular point to catch a bird's eye view of Kota Kinabalu city. Overlooking is the South China Sea, where the five popular island of Tunku Abdul Rahman Park can be seen namely Manukan, Sapi, Sulug, Mamutik and largest, the Gaya island where a local water village be viewed. Gaya island is also known to have the most type of dipterocarp trees that can be found in Sabah's rainforest. This hill is a perfect place to see the beautiful sunset (weather permit). Later, drive down to town for the night fruit market where you can find few stalls selling fresh local fruits such as the non-seasonal: bananas, pineapples, etc and if in season, the Durian (King of fruits), Mangosteen (Queen of fruits), Langsat, Rambutan, etc. Some imported fruits are also available. Proceed to another typical Asian colorful night market in Kampung Air selling various kind of local and non-local items and garments includes handicrafts. Proceed for a less than 10 minutes drive to an open air floating restaurant built over a lake for your Seafood dinner. Over dinner, you will be entertained with some of the Sabah's traditional cultural dances by a group of a well train local dancer in their full traditional and colorful costumes. Return to your hotel.
